DeenFlow (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. Overview

DeenFlow is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require accounts, and we do not collect or store personal data on external servers.

Most data remains on your device or is securely synced through Apple services.

2. Information Stored

We store the following information locally on your device and, if enabled, sync it via Apple iCloud (CloudKit):

• First name (entered during onboarding)
• Age (entered during onboarding)
• Prayer tracking (daily completion status)
• Habits (name, emoji, frequency, streak, start date, intentions)
• Consistency / streak data
• User-entered notes or intention text
• App preferences (notifications, settings, appearance)

This data is used solely to provide the app’s functionality.

3. Location Data

DeenFlow may use your device’s location to:

• Calculate accurate prayer times
• Determine Qibla direction

Location data:

• Is processed on-device
• May be stored locally for offline use
• Is never sent to external servers

4. Data Storage & Sync

Your data is stored:

• Locally on your device
• In your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit

Apple may process this data to provide synchronization across your devices. DeenFlow does not access or store this data outside of Apple’s infrastructure.

5. No Accounts or Tracking

DeenFlow:

• Does not require account creation
• Does not use third-party analytics
• Does not track users across apps or websites

6. Payments & Subscriptions

If you choose to purchase a subscription:

• Payments are processed by Apple via In-App Purchases
• Paywall presentation is managed by Superwall
• Superwall may process limited device-level data required to display paywalls and determine subscription status

No personal content (e.g., habits, prayers, notes) is shared.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data.

Data may only be processed by:

• Apple (CloudKit, iCloud, In-App Purchases)
• Superwall (for subscription/paywall functionality)

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:

• Access your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to certain processing

Since most data is stored locally or in your iCloud account, you can delete your data by:

• Deleting the app
• Disabling iCloud sync for the app

9. Data Retention

We do not retain your data on external servers.

All data remains:

• On your device, or
• Within your personal Apple iCloud account

10. Children’s Privacy

DeenFlow is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date.
